For the new Nikon SB900 flash, Quantum recommends the Turbo series battery packs with CKE or CCKE cable .

However the Nikon SB900 flash may cause a Turbo 2x2, Turbo SC, Turbo C or Turbo AC battery to shut down or slow down. (The original Turbo Battery is not affected)

If you notice this condition, Quantum has a software upgrade for the above mentioned Turbo models. This upgrade is free for affected Turbo units under warranty. Out-of-warranty Turbo 2x2, SC, C, or AC batteries can be upgraded for $49.

Note: This upgrade is needed for the Nikon SB900 only. Also, if you possess units with the following serial numbers, or higher, your Turbo is already upgraded:

Unit serial numbers already upgraded:
Turbo 2x2 S/N R243 or above
Turbo SC S/N R274 or above
Turbo C S/N R112 or above
Turbo AC S/N Q092 or above

Send your Turbo 2x2, C, AC or SC to the address below, with a note indicating "SB900 upgrade."

For non-warranty upgrades provide your VISA, MC, or AMEX credit card info (for security, no emails please!), or else enclose a check for $49. (Checks could take up to 15 days to clear). NY State residents must include the appropriate sales tax. Return shipping within the U.S.A. is included.

For warranty upgrade, please provide a copy of your bill of sale.

The in-house turn-around time is estimated at 1-2 weeks. Please use the address below:

[Flash Seminar] [Canon] [Nikon] [Metz]

Get beautiful, studio-quality lighting, perfect for digital and film photography, from a portable dedicated flash!

Qflash "Digital" model T5d-R is "dedicated" to the latest digital and film camera systems through its own QTTL® through-the-lens dedicated exposure control. Parabolic reflectors produce softer, cleaner light. And they quickly interchange for bare bulb, wide angle, diffused, and telephoto reflectors. Flash heads swivel and bounce and lock into position with one button control.

In addition to full dedication Qflash operates in Manual, Auto, TTL, and Strobo modes. In Automatic mode, Qflash power adjusts in 1/3 steps over wide ranges-- from f/1.4 to f/22 for ISO 100 film- in 25 precision settings. In Manual mode Qflash displays 19 power settings from full to 1/64th power, in 1/3 step increments.

Qflash T5d-R gets its power from Quantum Turbo®, Turbo 2x2, Turbo SC, Turbo Compact, Turbo AC or Turbo Z. Qflash power exceeds that of typical shoe-mount and handle-mount flashes, which allows for greater distances, bigger shots, and much more bounce power. That, combined with its studio quality light give professionals just the portable lighting they need.

Purchase a Qflash T5d-R and receive a $75 dollar rebate from Quantum, add any model Turbo; Turbo SC, Turbo 2x2, Turbo Compact, Turbo AC or Turbo to your Qflash order and double your rebate to $150.

You must make your purchase during
the second quarter of 2008,
April 1 through June 30, 2008.

Look for a rebate coupon in Qflash and Turbo boxes, fill out all the required information and mail the coupon with requested materials to the address shown on the coupon. If you did not find a coupon in the Qflash or Turbo box you can download a coupon at www.qtm.com/rebates

Only one coupon is needed per Qflash or Qflash/Turbo combo.

There is no rebate for purchasing a Turbo without a Qflash.

The Quantum products, Qflash T5d-R and Turbo Batteries, must be purchased from a Quantum Instruments Inc. authorized dealer in the U.S. Rebate checks will only be mailed to U.S. addresses.

Those of you who have seen our latest instructional DVD or have viewed it online at www.qflashacademy.com know Will is not only a terrific speaker but he knows Qflash inside and out.

Now you can let the camera and the flash do the work instead of fixing the files in Photoshop or Lightroom.

Watch as Will shares the camera setup, shooting tips and more while he actually shoots live TTL event shots, lights the entire room, and uses AUTO fill flash like a champ using both on-camera and off-camera flashes. Buckeye's own resident educator, Nick Coury joins in to share some great time saving and software tips on how to get those great files in and out of your lab to maximize profits.

QUANTUM UNVEILS MOST EXTENSIVE NEW PRODUCT ROLLOUT IN COMPANY HISTORY!

QNexus PhotoPlus Expo 2006 -Quantum Instruments Inc., of Hauppauge, New York, is introducing three major new products, as well as numerous new accessories and upgrades. This marks the largest one-time line expansion in the company's history and reinforces its role as an essential supplier of professional photographic instruments:

NEW Qnexus-When mounted to Quantum's new-generation Qflash 5d-R flash units, this ingenious receiver/decoder "reads" wireless TTL signals directly from Canon and Nikon shoe mount master flashes. It integrates multiple high-power Qflash 5d-R's into Canon or Nikon wireless TTL systems where they act as dedicated, full-function remotes controlled totally from the camera's flash menu. Qnexus supports all Canon and Nikon wireless flash functions including Manual, Automatic, TTL and TTL-Ratio.

A Qnexus equipped Qflash 5d-R produces 150 to 400 watt-seconds of beautiful studio-quality lighting (models QFT5d-R and QFX5d-R respectively). Qnexus greatly expands creative options for portrait and event photography. For example, photographers can make a great portable portrait set-up by using a Qflash in a softbox or with an umbrella, as the main light source, and use their Canon or Nikon flash for fill. Or, for those tricky, large group photos, they can use any combination of Qflashes with camera manufacturer's flashes as remotes, all controlled by a Nikon or Canon wireless controller. Qnexus/Qflash adds both power and versatility to the system.

Qnexus features a multi-function LED that indicates it is programmed for either Nikon or Canon wireless flash commands. Qnexus also indicates when the unit receives a command from the on-camera master flash or controller. A channel dial corresponds to the channel settings for Nikon or Canon systems. In addition, "Group" settings can be utilized to control multiple Qflashes with TTL ratios, or combine them in one group for extraordinary wireless flash power.

Qflah 5d-R NEW Qflash 5d-R -("d" for digital and "R" for Ratio)- is the latest evolution in Quantum's proven Qflash portable flash line. The new 5d-R series used with Quantum's FreeXwire digital radio system, now support wireless control of all dedicated camera-flash functions-Manual, TTL, Auto, Auto-fill and TTL-Ratio-up to 500 ft. away!

Qflash 5d-R units blend seamlessly with Canon, Nikon and other popular, professional, digital camera systems using Quantum's proprietary QTTL adapters. In some situations, Qflash even provides capabilities a camera system may not support- such as wireless remote Fill-Flash. Exposure ratios for local and remote Qflashes can also be set from an on-camera Qflash 5d-R, even if the camera system does not support TTL-Ratio.

Combined, the Qflash 5d-R and FreeXwire systems open up an exciting new world of wireless- creative freedom, where even the most complex lighting set-ups can be accomplished quickly, easily and reliably.

The new 5d-R series includes two models: the Qflash T5d-R powered by Quantum Turbo-series batteries, and the Qflash X5d-R powered by Quantum's Qpaq-X battery system. The T5d-R provides up to 150 watt-seconds of beautiful, studio quality lighting (vs. 50 watt-seconds for shoe mount flashes) while the X5d-R units deliver up to 400 watt-seconds each.

Turbo SC NEW Turbo Slim Compact- A new, ultra-lightweight, ultra-slim, ultra-compact addition to Quantum's popular Turbo battery line. The new Turbo SC ("S" for Slim and "C" for Compact) provides typical all-day flash shooting capacity like the standard Turbo, yet weighs less than a pound and fits easily in a shirt pocket! "It's so small, light and easy-to-carry"…said one photographer who tried it…"that I completely forgot it was there!"

State-of-the-art NiMH batteries power the Turbo SC for lightning-fast recycling times and high capacity. Despite its mini proportions, it provides up to 225 full-power flashes with Quantum's Qflash units, or 400 shoe mount flashes, on a single 1.5-hour charge. And, like all Quantum batteries, the new Turbo SC features a computerized "fuel gauge" that clearly displays the amount of power remaining and monitors charging progress.

The Turbo SC is compatible with all Quantum "C" and "CC-Series" flash cables. It includes a removable belt clip and a 100 - 240 volt charger. When the unit is registered online using the Quantum web site, Quantum will send the customer a free leather shoulder strap.

QF69 NEW Accessories-To help maximize the performance of the Qflash line, Quantum has introduced a new Mini Folding Softbox (QF69) with hotspot reducer. It is ideal for close-up work where a perfectly smooth, soft, diffused look is a must. The QF69 does not obstruct Qflash sensors and can be used with all Qflash series, in all modes. It folds flat and comes with a handy pouch for easy storage/transport.

QF69 ALSO NEW--- Quantum has designed a handy, new FreeXwire Bracket (FW25) that conveniently mounts the FW9T Transmitter to the bottom of the camera.

NEW Upgrade-Consistent with Quantum's dedication to "planned non-obsolescence", they are offering a new upgrade Model QF3d-R that gives owners of older Qflash 2 units many advantages of the new Qflash 5d-R series. Highlights include: full digital and film camera dedication using QTTL "D" adapters; wired/wireless TTL-Ratio and Auto-fill for remote Qflashes using FreeXwire; Sensor Limit and over/under exposure indication for Auto and Auto-fill modes.

Tips for consistent exposures with your digital camera & Qflash

Always do a custom white balance before shooting.

Pre-programmed white balance settings in the camera are for the camera manufacturers flash. The Qflash flash tube has a different color temperature, plus lighting can vary at each photo shoot. Doing a custom white balance will save you time and money whether you use photoshop or a lab.

When shooting TTL use Aperture or Shutter Priority or Manual camera exposure modes.

In Aperture or Shutter Priority and Manual TTL you are more in command of your photos. You can choose the Aperture, Shutter speed or both. When using Program TTL the camera gets to decide Aperture and Shutter speed and this only works for ideal situations. Remember the camera doesn't know whether you want depth of field or not, nor whether you want to show motion or stop motion.

When metering a subject area with a camera use center weight or partial metering instead of matrix or multispot metering.

When using matrix(pattern) or multispot metering the camera looks at the whole scene through the lens to determine exposure information. If there are highlighted and shadow areas in this scene the camera can be fooled into making an incorrect determination on how long the Qflash should stay on leading to an over- or under-exposed photo. Using partial or center weight metering will help you read just the subject area for a proper exposure.

Your Qflash is 150 watt-seconds compared to a 50 watt-second shoe mount flash, when shooting 5 ft. or closer, at ISO 200 or greater, with a wide open F-stop you must always diffuse otherwise your subject will be over exposed.

At ISO 200 or greater, lens opening set to F2.8, F3.5, or F4.5; with Qflash reflector in normal position any subject closer than 7feet will be over-exposed. At ISO 400, closer than 10 feet and a subject is over-exposed. When you use maximum diffusion both are no longer over-exposed. To get up-close and personal with your subjects the best course of action is maximum diffusion to prevent over-exposed subjects.

When using Qflash in Auto/Auto-Fill mode we suggest that you use the Sensor Limit Option, this gives you better control of the amount of flash reaching the subject area.

In Auto/Auto-Fill the Qflash sensor is used to read the scene. The sensor determines when the Qflash will shut down. With ISO 200, F5.6 chosen the minimum to maximum distance (area that the Qflash will try to evenly light) is 4.5 to 40ft. This means that the Qflash will try to deliver an even amount of light from 4.5 to 40ft. To produce an F5.6 at 40ft, with a subject at 10ft. causes the subject to be over-exposed. Setting the Sensor Limit Option to a distance just past the subject, in this case 15ft. eliminates this problem.

Get beautiful, studio-quality lighting, perfect for digital and film photography, from a portable dedicated flash!

Qflash "Digital" model T4d is "dedicated" to the latest digital and film camera systems through its own QTTL® through-the-lens dedicated exposure control. Parabolic reflectors produce softer, cleaner light. And they quickly interchange for bare bulb, wide angle, diffused, and telephoto reflectors.

Qflash "digitals" are smaller and lighter than their predecessors.

Multiple flash set-ups are easier because Qflash units communicate and coordinate through control cables, or wirelessly via FREEXWIRE digital transceivers. Model T4d gets its power from Quantum Turbo®, Turbo 2x2, or Turbo Compact.

Qflash power exceeds that of typical shoe-mount and handle-mount flashes, which allows for greater distances, bigger shots, and much more bounce power. That, combined with its studio quality light give professionals just the portable lighting they need.

    QTTL Adapters

Quantum's QTTL system is fully dedicated to popular camera systems, such as Nikon*, Canon*, Contax*, Mamiya*, Olympus*, and more.

Using the QTTL adapter for your camera, Qflash "Digitals" display and track the camera f/number and film speed set in the camera, allow for rear curtain sync, and provide infra-red auto focus assist.

QTTL adapters can offset Qflash output between -3 to +2 stops (in 1/3 steps) in relation to the f/number setting on the camera. Even if your camera doesn't support fill/flash ratio, the QTTL ratio setting tracks the camera aperture as it changes, providing automatic fill/flash ratio!

Digital and film cameras that employ "pre-flash" metering are also supported by Quantum's QTTL adapters.

    Quantum Qflash Softbox
    QUANTUM Qflash® Softbox

When the new 12 x 12 softbox (QF68) is attached to any model Qflash by removing the standard reflector and locking the softbox into its place, a bigger, softer light source for close-up portraiture is created. With the softbox connected, this combination can be mounted to a camera bracket or fastened to an umbrella bracket for placement on a light stand. The Qflash/softbox combination is suited for either TTL or manual operation. When finished shooting, the QF68 folds up very neatly into its carrying bag for your convenience. Retail List price is $78.

This new softbox joins the Qflash family of specialized reflectors that include: Wide Angle Diffuser (QF67A), Bare Bulb Enhancers (QF62Bs/g), Telephoto/Portrait (QF63B), and Snoot (QF61B).

    Qflash T/T2/d, Freewire, & Turbo <i>Compact</i>
    Small, Portable Flash System
Qflash T/T2/d, FreeXwire, & Turbo Compact

The Turbo Compact makes a perfectly balanced platform for the Qflash T/T2/d after it is screwed into the base of the Qflash. Once the FreeXwire is added to this combination, the photographer has a small, remote-controlled flash system with the Turbo Compact, powering both the FreeXwire and Qflash. This system can be placed behind a bride and groom, in a church balcony, or anywhere else that extra punch is needed to enhance a photograph.

Our smallest Turbo yet, the Turbo C weighs just 16 ounces, yet it packs almost the same power of a standard Turbo. Turbo C displays remaining capacity on it's "fuel gauge" so that a busy photographer will not be caught unaware. Indicators show power delivered to the Qflash. When charging, a process that takes only 1½ hours, the "fuel gauge" displays the charging progress.

With the FreeXwire as part this equation, an extra dimension is added to your shooting repertoire. When used with Quantum's QTTL, TTL, or FW adapters and your 2¼ TTL camera, FreeWire provides wireless TTL control of remote Qflash T's.

Digital Qflash with QTTL and FreeWire Introducing upgraded Qflash T2D and X2D “Digital”

    Upgrades Now Available
    QFT2D & QTTL's Now shipping to Dealers

Quantum's new Qflash T2D and X2D Digital are upgrades providing new features for the working pro shooter. And they provide dedication to the latest digital and film cameras using Quantum's new QTTL™ dedicated adapters!

All Qflash T2 and X2 models can be upgraded to T2D Digital and X2D Digital. The cost is $129.00 including shipping back to you. It takes 5-10 days from the time Quantum receives a Qflash T2 or X2. Contact your dealer or Quantum to arrange for your upgrade.

    Here are the new capabilities:

Full TTL Dedication for new digital and film cameras

    Automatic Fill Mode
This mode allows setting fill flash ratios when used with one of the new QTTL adapters. Fill-flash ratios can be controlled even for cameras that do not have fill-flash capabilities!

    Automatic Sensor Limit
This option on the T2 / X2 limits the distance the Qflash sensor “sees” when in Auto mode.

Without Auto Sensor Limit, if the subject has no background (in a open field outside), or the background is far away (a large catering hall), the flash sensor tries to balance the subject and background light. The subject is bright, and the background is dark, and the result is an over exposed subject.

By limiting sensor distance, the sensor will no longer try to balance the light from a far background and will focus only on the subjects that are within the sensor limit. The result: great automatic exposures in all situations!

    Quick Turn off
If you are using Qflash as an on-camera flash and want to disable the flash for a few shots you can use the “quick turn off” feature. Press the MODE button twice and the word “OFF” appears in the display.

Press any button (except the test flash) to return to normal operation.

    Twice as many Program Modes
The number of Qflash set-ups which can be saved has been increased from 4 to 8. These saved modes can be selected with one button when you’re on the go.

Turbo 2x2 New ! Turbo 2x2   Power for digicams and flash

Twice the power, dual outputs, smaller than the standard Turbo.

For power hungry digital cameras and flashes, Quantum stuffed twice the power into a smaller package. And, now you have two connections, for a camera and flash, two cameras, or two flashes!

Photographers need reliable power now more than ever. Quantum Turbo 2x2 provides programmable low voltage for your digicam, and high voltage for your flash at the same time. Now your flash keeps up with your camera, and camera with flash.

Be assured of reliability because Turbo 2x2 uses the latest Nickel Metal Hydride battery technology, visible “gas gauge”, and Quantum’s proprietary, built-in charging circuitry.

We have cables for all popular digicams and flashes. See digital page for details.

Now you can shoot long, demanding jobs with added “power security”. See your photo dealer.

Quantum Turbo with Nikon SB80DX Flash New Nikon Flash SB80 is Compatible with Quantum Batteries

Connect a Turbo or Turbo Z Battery to the Nikon SB80 using Turbo Cable CKE. You get ultra fast recycling and all day capacity.

The Turbo puts approximately 330 volts into the flashes capacitor/flash tube circuit, bypassing the TTL and LCD low voltage circuits. “AA” batteries still must be used to power these low voltage circuits.

Use a Quantum Battery 1+ or Quantum Battery 1 Compact with a power module MKZ2 connected into the flashes battery compartment. Use a Bantam Battery or Quantum Battery 1 Compact with a power module XKZ2. You get consistent recycling and typically 5 times the capacity of “AA” batteries.

All power packs display power remaining and charge level using an LED “fuel gauge”. Quantum Batteries typically yield the same power as $2000 worth of “AA” batteries.

Quantum FreeWire with Kodak DCS 760 Camera Focus and Trigger The Kodak DCS 760 Digital Camera Remotely with a FreeWire Two Step Motor Drive Cord

Quantum’s new Two Step Motor Drive Cords for FreeWire wireless Digital Transceivers let you focus and trigger your camera at great distances without wires.

Now you can use the Kodak DCS 760 Digital Camera with the FreeWire Two Step Motor Drive Cord FW44 in conjunction with FreeWire wireless Digital Transceivers.

Put the Kodak DCS 760 Digital Camera behind a soccer goal net, for a photo with a different perspective. In the studio, have freedom of movement when taking children portraits- no more standing behind your camera viewfinder.

Connect the two step motor drive cord FW44 to a FreeWire Digital Transceiver (FW10). Mount and connect it to your remote camera. Connect as many of these remote FreeWire/Camera combos as needed and you’re ready to go. Press & holding the test button down on your hand held FreeWire Digital Transceiver will transmit the signal to wake up, focus and fire all remote cameras.

If you own an auto focus camera, a two step motor drive cord is an invaluable aid for triggering your camera remotely.

Quantum QB1c with Minolta Dimage 7 Camera Quantum Battery Power for the Minolta Dimage 7 & Nikon COOLPIX 995 Digital Cameras

Power Cords XDC4/XDC2 are short, coiled cords with a molded right angle connector that plugs directly into the DC input of a digital camera. Use the XDC4 with the Minolta Dimage 7 or XDC2 with the Nikon COOLPIX 995. Connect either of these combinations to the Quantum Battery 1 Compact (QB1c) for a dependable, long lasting power source. For extended power, 30% more, connect either of these digital cameras to a Quantum Battery 1+ (QB1+).

Quantum QB1c with Kodak Nikon Coolpix 995 Camera The motor drive shaped QB1c screws into the tripod socket of the Minolta Dimage 7 or Nikon COOLPIX 995 to make a compact unit. Or clip QB1c on your belt using extension cord BEX. A third mounting choice allows you to mount your digital camera and QB1c on a tripod, using the optional Offset Multi Bracket QBO.

Just 1-3/4” wide, the Quantum Battery 1+ (QB1+) clips to your belt, power from the QB1+ is transferred directly to your camera through a heavy duty power cord especially designed for your digital camera. Use the MDC4 with the Minolta Dimage 7 or MDC2 with the Nikon COOLPIX 995. Mount your digital camera and QB1+ to a tripod using the Quantum Battery Clamp (QBC) to attach the QB1+.

Both the Quantum Battery 1 Compact and Battery 1+ have a power monitor “fuel gauge” showing remaining power. Both power packs charge in 4 hours and have a full charge indicator.

Quantum FreeWire with Contax N1 Camera FreeWire and Qflash provide wired or wireless TTL control from the new Contax N1

Get all the camera / flash TTL functions including flash TTL compensation! Choose a conventional “wired” connection by connecting a QF24 TTL adapter between the Contax N1 and a Qflash (any model).

Or, go for “wireless” control using a FreeWire Digital Transceiver (FW10) and FW64 TTL adapter connected to the Contax. Then, connect any number of remote FreeWire / Qflash units for single or multi-flash coordinated wireless TTL!

Quantum QFT2 with Contax N1 Camera For either set up, choose a flash TTL mode on the Contax N1, dial in any flash compensation desired, and the camera will direct the flash when to turn on and off for your chosen setting.

When in TTL mode Qflash indicates “OK”, “Under”, or “Over” exposure for each TTL photo you take. Both TTL adapters are mounted on the camera’s hot shoe and plug into the accessory input of Qflash. The QF24 and FW64 can be used with all Qflash models and both Contax N1 and 645 models.

Quantum Frewire & FW41 with Contax 645 Camera Focus and Trigger Your Camera Remotely with FreeWire Two Step Motor Drive Cords

Quantum’s new Two Step Motor Drive Cords for FreeWire wireless Digital Transceivers let you focus and trigger your camera at great distances without wires.

Typical wireless triggers only release shutters on remote cameras. Modern cameras with auto focus require a moment to focus, then release the shutter. FreeWire Digital Transceivers have the built-in capability to do that wirelessly, and our two-step motor drive cords work with popular brands of cameras.

Put your secondary camera behind a basketball court, back board for a photo with a different perspective. Setup a remote camera for a wildlife photo. In the studio, take away sync cords to trip over. Have freedom of movement when taking fashion portraits- no more standing behind your camera viewfinder.

Quantum’s two step motor drive cords work with the following brands of cameras:

FW41 two step MD cord for Contax 645
FW42 two step MD cord for Maxxum 7, 9
    FW43 two step MD cord for Canon EOS 1V, 3, D2000, D30
    FW44 two step MD cord for Nikon D1/x/h, F5, N90/S, F90X, F100
FW45 two step MD cord for Mamiya 645AF, 645D
    FW46 two step MD cord for Canon EOS 1, 1N, A2, A2E, AS, 620, T90
FW47 two step MD cord for Pentax 645N & All Autofocus SLR Cameras except Z-1p

Connect any of the above two step motor drive cords to a FreeWire Digital Transceiver (FW10). Mount and connect it to your remote camera. Connect as many of these remote FreeWire/Camera combos as needed and you’re ready to go. Pressing the test button on your hand held FreeWire Digital Transceiver will transmit the signal to wake up, focus and fire all remote cameras.

If you own an auto focus camera, a two step motor drive cord is an invaluable aid for triggering your camera remotely.

Quantum FreeWire with FW26 Multi Clip

Quantum FreeWire with FW26 Multi Clip on QBC

The FW26 Multi Clip attaches to the back of your FreeWire enabling the unit to be clipped to your belt, accessory bracket or light stand (using the optional QBC mounting clamp).

Wireless TTL control of Qflash with FreeWire Transceivers!
    Quantum FreeWire with FW59 TTL

Quantum’s new TTL adapters for FreeWire wireless transceivers let your camera control flash exposure without wires.

For location portraiture (beach, desert, park, etc.) use wireless TTL when photographing subjects at longer distances, when TTL cables are not practical.

For commercial photography mount a Qflash in a light box and shoot wireless TTL for camera controlled soft lighting.

Quantum’s wireless TTL adapters work with both Qflash T & Qflash X series and the following brands of cameras:

FW52     wireless TTL adapter for Nikon
    (Nikon D1, D1H & D1X are not compatible with FW52)
FW53N wireless TTL adapter for Canon
(Canon D30 is not compatible with FW53N)
FW57     wireless TTL adapter for Pentax
FW59     wireless TTL adapter for Hasselblad
FW60     wireless TTL adapter for Bronica
FW64     wireless TTL adapter for Contax 645
FW65     wireless TTL adapter for Mamiya 645AF

Connect any of the above TTL adapters to a FreeWire Transceiver (FW10). Mount it to your camera hot shoe. If your camera has no hot shoe the FreeWire TTL adapter comes with a TTL cable that plugs into the camera. Connect as many remote FreeWire / Qflash combos as needed and you’re ready to go. The FreeWire at the camera will transmit the TTL information received from the camera to all the Qflash’s set to TTL mode.

A FreeWire with a TTL adapter is a must have for the TTL shooter. Qflash, FreeWire combos can be positioned without the worry of TTL extension cables getting in the way.

If your dealer does not have any of the above items in stock please have them contact Quantum to place an order.

FW33 replaces QF52 when used with FreeWire

FW33 "Y" connector is used to set up a wireless TTL control when using Qflash, QF series TTL adapter, and FreeWire FW10. It provides SYNC and TTL connection between Qflash, TTL adapter and an FW10 transmitter unit.
